Denver Academy in Denver, Colorado is accepting resumes for the position of

High School – Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 season.

Position:

Head Coach – Boys Varsity Basketball - High School

Accountability:

Reports to the High School Athletic Director

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Basketball coaching experience or a strong background in basketball is desired.
• Strong decision-making, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all people.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, school personnel, and parents.
• An understanding of adolescent physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
• An active Colorado driver's license is required for driving the athletes to and from games.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement all practice schedules.
• Attend all after-school practices Monday through Friday.
• Weekends and evenings will be required.
• Attends all basketball games.
• Maintain effective communication with athletes, school administration, staff, students, parents, and the community.
• Maintain a positive culture and role model that reflects the core values, and mission of Denver Academy.
• Perform other duties as they are assigned within the best interest for the program.
