Qualifications

• High School education (required).
• Experience as an assistant coach or varsity player at the high school or college level preferred.
• Cleared Background/Fingerprint check
• Valid CPR
• Cleared TB assessment
• Completion of Ministry Safe Training
• Valid CA Driver's License
• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate
• NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate
• NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Certificate
• NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate

Responsabilités

• Assist the Head Coach with instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
• Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities as directed by the head coach.
• Assess players' skills and monitor performance during practices and games.
• Report student concerns to the Head Coach.
• Assist with determining game strategy and supervising athletes during practices and competition.
• Distribute equipment, supplies, and uniforms as directed by the head coach.
• May drive students to away games and ensure proper transportation procedures.
• Attend staff development meetings and clinics to improve coaching performance.
