Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an assistant football coach to teach fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training to student athletes. You will foster moral values, pride, self-discipline, and community relations while reporting to the head coach and athletic director.

The role requires scheduling practices, maintaining equipment inventories, and ensuring players are cleared to participate. You will work under district and CHSAA guidelines and monitor student status.

Qualifications

• Football knowledge and coaching credentials required.
• Colorado Coaching Certificate or ability to obtain it.
• CPR & AED certification required.
• Complete CHSAA coaching test and obtain registration.
• Concussion awareness course completion is required by state law and CHSAA.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the head coach and athletic director.
• Supervises all aspects of the program at their level with direction from the head coach.
• Schedule and attend practices; develop training plans.
• Ensure athletes are cleared to participate; manage equipment inventory.
• Comply with CCSD, Centennial League, and CHSAA rules.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, and academic status.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
