Job summary

Bradley County School District is seeking a Grade 9-12 Fine Arts Teacher on a full-time interim basis. The role focuses on implementing district-approved curriculum, assessing student progress, and maintaining records while fostering a safe, engaging learning environment.

The teacher will deliver high school art instruction, coordinate with staff, and involve parents in student growth. Certification in art/visual arts and a strong classroom management background are required.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure as High School Art/Visual Arts teacher.
• Experience with high school curriculum and standards.
• Ability to track student progress and communicate outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers high school curriculum aligned to district goals.
• Creates lesson plans and provides instructional materials for high school arts.
• Performs ongoing assessment and adapts instruction to student needs.
• Maintains accurate records of grades, attendance and progress.
• Encourages parental involvement and effective communication with families.
• Coordinates with other staff and participates in meetings.
