Qualifications

• Appropriate ESL license for grades 5-12 (Massachusetts).

• Highly qualified with required competency in the content area.

Responsibilities

• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated locations/times.
• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
• Guide the learning process toward the achievement of district curriculum goals and communicate clear objectives for all lessons.
• Prepare for classes and show written evidence of preparation as required by the contract.
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate with parents as needed.
