Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or meets minimum requirements to be eligible for an Educator License with Stipulations (ESL) Endorsement
• Valid Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) for grades 9-12
• ESL Endorsement (Grades 9-12) and Science - Biology/Physics/Chemistry/Environmental/Earth & Space

Responsibilities

• Teach to prescribed outcomes and goals to lead to positive student outcomes
• Utilize standards-based learning and gradual release of responsibility instructional model
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and language development
• Track student progress and communicate with parents and counselors using the SIS system
• Create a positive, safe, student-centered learning environment
