Qualifications

• Education/Training: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or meets minimum requirements to be eligible for an Educator License with Stipulations (ESL) Endorsement
• Licensure: Valid Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) for grades 9-12
• Endorsement: WorldLanguage - Spanish (Grades 9-12)

Responsibilities

• Teach to prescribed outcomes and goals to lead to positive student outcomes
• Utilize standards-based learning and gradual release of responsibility instructional model
• Design and implement coherent and rigorous instruction aligned to priority standards and student needs
• Maintain a positive, safe learning environment and effective classroom management
• Collaborate with colleagues and document using the SIS system
• Communicate with parents/guardians and students regarding progress
