Job summary

The Cutter Morning Star School District is seeking a dedicated High School Teacher to support learning across disciplines. You will deliver the approved curriculum, plan lessons, and foster a classroom environment that supports intellectual, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include collaborating with staff, maintaining records, communicating with parents, and coordinating paraprofessionals to enhance student achievement while adhering to district policies and ADE requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with endorsements in the teaching area.
• Arkansas teaching certificate/licensure required.
• Ability to use basic computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Teach CMSSD approved curriculum to assigned classes.
• Plan lessons and prepare instructional materials meeting students’ needs.
• Create a conducive learning environment for students’ maturity and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports as required.
• Communicate with parents via reports, newsletters, notes, calls and conferences.
• Coordinate paraprofessionals and volunteers to support classroom and field activities.
