Responsibilities

• Participate in curriculum review and design.

• Diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress in a timely and consistent manner.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Plan a program of study that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student progress and provide regular progress reports.
• Refer students for additional services as provided by the School Division (Special Education, Gifted Education, Reading Intervention, EL/Migrant Education).
• Collaborate with department and grade-level teachers to implement division initiatives.
