Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field is required.
• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification in English Language Arts is required.
• Experience teaching ELA at the high school level.
• Strong knowledge of literacy instruction, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
• Ability to use data to drive instructional decisions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to educational equity and culturally responsive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned ELA instruction for high school.
• Plan lessons, analyze student work, and adjust teaching based on data.
