Jupiter Christian School seeks a dedicated High School English teacher to bring literature to life and help students write with clarity and conviction. You will teach AP courses alongside core English classes, integrating a biblical worldview into every lesson and collaborating with a supportive team.

Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, creating a positive classroom environment, and using technology for teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or English Education (required).
• Master’s degree in Education or English (preferred).
• Three+ years teaching experience; AP teaching experience or training is a strong plus.
• Florida English (6-12) teaching certification or eligible to obtain it (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Teach High School English classes (including AP courses).
• Integrate biblical worldview into instruction and engage literature thoughtfully.
• Plan engaging lessons using curriculum guides and update them.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on writing.

AP teaching experience/training

Certification (6-12) in English

Formation
