Austincc is seeking a High School English Teacher, preferably with Special Education Certification, to join our team in Newton, NH. You will work with students who have a variety of educational disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mental health needs, in a supportive, collaborative environment.

The role involves coordination with other educators, counselors, and support staff to help students complete their high school diploma and succeed academically.

Qualifications

• High School English teacher with Special Education certification.
• Experience with at-risk students and diverse learning needs.

Responsabilités

• Teach high school English to students with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with special educators, related service providers, counselors, paras, and other staff.
• Coordinate with school teams to support individual education plans.

We are seeking a High School English Teacher, preferably with Special Education Certification to join our team. We are an out of district therapeutic day placement servicing students with a variety of educational disabilities, behavioral challenges, social skill deficits, academic needs and mental health diagnoses. You will be working in coordination with other special educators, related service providers, counselors, para educators, yoga/mindfulness instructor, music therapist and adventure-based counselors. Hours are 7:00am – 2:30pm

Salary commensurate with experience/education/certification.
