Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Math Education, or related field. Master’s preferred.
• Teaching license in Technology/Engineering/Math/Digital Literacy/CS at high school level; candidates eligible for preliminary licensure may be considered.
• SEI Endorsement.
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with data-driven instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district engineering, computer science and math standards.
• Teach engineering, computer science and math concepts appropriate to grade level (CAD, robotics, algebra, geometry, statistics, calculus).
• Use diverse instructional strategies to meet varied learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student understanding through quizzes, tests, projects and formative assessments.
• Maintain robotics/engineering workshop safety plans and equipment use.
• Provide timely feedback to help students improve skills.
• Differentiate instruction for students with IEPs or English learners.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication.
