Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a part-time High School Engineering Intern for our Kennesaw or Atlanta, GA offices. This role supports project delivery needs including contaminated site investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, and remedial system design.

Position runs ~13–15 weeks during fall 2026 or spring/summer 2027, with potential for additional rotations. Candidates should be current high school students with a focus in civil, geotechnical, environmental, or water resources

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ArcView, CADD, and/or Microsoft Office.
• Written authorization to work as required under state laws depending on age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools.
• Assist in report and proposal preparation.
• Data input and analyses.
• Follow instructions and interact with engineers, geologists, office administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors and construction personnel.
• Develop an understanding of the consulting profession.
