Job summary

Argo Community High School seeks an ELL Resource Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year (2nd semester). The role focuses on providing academic support for EL/Bilingual students, monitoring progress, and updating records.

The position is grant funded, with a schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during lunch periods. Certification to teach ELL at the high school level is required, and extra duties include attendance tracking and coordinating with EL Services as needed.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Certified to teach ELL at the High School Level.
• Preference for teachers with 6th period lunch (for the 2nd Semester).
• Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (during Lunch Periods)
• Rate of Pay: Excess pay rate per collective bargaining agreement.
• This position is grant funded.

Responsibilities

• Provide Academic Support for EL / Bilingual Students
• Take attendance
• Monitor students' progress in their academic courses
• Provide individualized coaching (executive functioning) and instruction (academic)
• Alert the EL Services when needed to help find supports for the students
• Update log entries to reflect important information
