Job summary

Bellwood School District 88 seeks an ESL Resource Teacher for Grant Elementary for the 2026–2027 school year. The role reports to the Building Principal and Director of Bilingual Services, and includes providing linguistic and academic support to ELL students, along with family communication and program collaboration.

Requirements include a Professional Educator License and ESL endorsement, with strong English communication skills and knowledge of language acquisition and instructional

Qualifications

• Must have valid Professional Educator License.
• ESL endorsement required or in process.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, linguistic, and cultural support in the classroom.
• Facilitate communication, including translation and interpretation for families.
• Build relationships with ELLs and their families and monitor progress.
• Follow a weekly, flexible schedule with school administration and staff.
