KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools (KPPS) seeks a High School ELA Teacher to deliver rigorous instruction, strengthen reading and writing, and foster a classroom culture where all students feel affirmed and challenged.

The role requires deep ELA content knowledge, strong classroom management, and collaboration with families and colleagues to drive student growth and uphold KPPS core values. A focus on equity and ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of full-time ELA teaching experience (urban setting strongly preferred).
• PA State certification Level I or II strongly preferred. If uncertified, must enroll in PA-approved certification program within one year of hire and provide transcripts upon hire.
• Complete all required criminal and child abuse background checks prior to start date.

• Deliver rigorous English Language Arts instruction and analyze student work to inform instruction.
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues.
• Uphold KPPS culture systems and core values and participate in coaching and professional development.
• Maintain data-driven instruction and adjust curricula based on student performance.
