Job Description

Stride, Inc. is seeking passionate educators for the Virginia Virtual Academy (VAVA). As a state-certified, highly qualified teacher, you will deliver online high school English courses, providing instruction, support, and guidance tailored to students' individual needs. Teachers monitor progress via the learning management system and work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to meet educational goals. This is a remote, full-time position requiring occasional travel for in-person professional development, testing, and school events.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Active Virginia state teaching license
• Ability to pass background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with online teaching platforms
• Experience working with high school students in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to collaborate and analyze student data
