Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years post-high school education required.
• Two years experience with students with disabilities; at least one year in a role requiring interpersonal interaction and knowledge of programming for students with disabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; valid driver's license and ability to use personal vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Carries out programming per the Individual Education Plan, including monitoring goals.
• Follow behavior management programs under teacher direction.
• Route and share information about student work tasks with case managers.
• Work cooperatively with professional staff and monitor student progress.
• Provide physical assistance and help students access transportation as needed.
