Job summary

Monticello High School in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a part-time Dive Coach to support student-athletes with conditioning, technique, and competition readiness. The role includes after-school and weekend hours, as well as travel with teams to events and close collaboration with coaches, parents and the community.

Qualified candidates understand VHSL rules, have coaching experience, and can organize practice schedules while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of VHSL rules and regulations.
• Ability to develop and train high school student-athletes.
• Organize and prepare practice schedules.
• Demonstrate discipline that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Coaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Afterschool and weekend coaching duties.
• Travel with student-athletes to matches.
• Collaborate with other coaches, administrators, parents and media.
• Support a positive, engaging program for athletes and the community.
