Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to serve as Head Coach and 19 to serve as Assistant Coach.
• Responsibilities include guiding students in debate, organizing practices, and preparing for competitions.

Responsibilities

• Guide students in developing public speaking, critical thinking, research, and argumentation skills.
• Plan and lead practices, teach debate formats and strategies, and provide feedback.
• Organize tournament participation and mentor students on teamwork and leadership.
• Coordinate with school staff and parents and foster an inclusive environment.
• Travel to local, regional, or state events; support during tournaments; perform prep work.
