Job summary

Eastside Catholic School seeks a full-time High School Dean of Students for the 2026–27 school year. This is a 10-month, school-year position that runs mid-August through mid-June and reports to the High School Assistant Principal.

The Dean will foster a safe, inclusive environment, collaborate with deans, counselors and faculty, address behavior and attendance concerns, and partner with families to support student development.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to collaborate across school constituencies.
• Experience as part of a three-dean model.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and school information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage student discipline and attendance with restorative practices.
• Lead parent/teacher conferences about behavior or attendance issues.
• Counsel students individually or in small groups.
• Develop proactive restorative programs to improve school culture.
• Supervise students during arrivals, dismissal, and events.
• Maintain discipline records and reports in compliance with policy.
