Job summary

DeKalb County School District is seeking a Community Coach, Dance for Clarkston High School. You will support the Head Coach, assist with game techniques, and help prepare athletes for competition while maintaining equipment and facilities.

This temporary role focuses on coaching duties and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and a Georgia Lay Coaching Certificate with a valid first aid certificate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with game techniques and strategies to prepare athletes for competition.
• Maintain inventory of athletic equipment and facilities and ensure locker rooms are organized and clean.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid techniques and respond appropriately to injuries.
• Follow directions from Head Coach and Principal and support the coaching staff as needed.
