DeKalb County School District's Lithonia High School seeks a motivated Basketball Head Coach for the Boys program. You will assist the Head Coach in game tactics and skill development for students, and contribute to organizing practices and game plans.

This community coaching role includes maintaining equipment inventory, up-to-date first aid knowledge, and upkeep of facilities. Positions are annual renewable for the school year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience coaching sports preferred.
• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
• Valid First Aid certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with game techniques and strategies.
• Support student athletes and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain inventory of athletic equipment.
• Maintain locker room and playing facilities and apply first aid knowledge.
