KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks an Immediate School Culture Specialist for a High School to strengthen school culture and climate, fostering a positive, safe, and structured learning environment. This role builds strong relationships with students and staff, promotes accountability, and supports behavior systems aligned with district conduct codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Two (2) years of teaching experience.
• Strong experience in behavioral intervention and management techniques.
• Commitment to racial and educational equity for all children.
• Background check required as required by law; Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse may apply.

Responsabilités

• Supports implementation of student discipline aligned with the Code of Student Conduct, including counseling students and communicating with guardians.
• Ensures the Code of Student Conduct is understood by students, families, and staff; supports staff training on behavior expectations.
• Provides proactive student support, preventive counseling, and early intervention strategies to address behavioral concerns.
• Refers students to school-based guidance and support services as needed.
• Assists with attendance initiatives and restorative culture-building programs.
• Collaborates with families, teachers, and leaders to address attendance and classroom behavioral issues.
• Monitors daily routines to maintain a safe, orderly environment and supports PBS initiatives.
