Ypsilanti Community Schools is seeking a school counselor at Ypsilanti Community High School to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth. The counselor will deliver guidance activities, assess student needs, and collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to promote a safe and productive learning environment.
Qualifications include a valid Michigan School Counselor certificate (NT) and a bachelor’s degree with appropriate certification.
SALARY: Range is $44.450 to $55,150 per the YCEA Contract
Instructs students in activities designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth in the subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible adults.

The contract, salary and other employment conditions will be established by the Board of Education. Applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment for this position will be required to commit to leadership with a traditional and/or balanced calendar.
