Contracted position with state approved hourly rate of $65.00 an hour. Hours are flexible with 15-20 hours per week with potential of working toward full time, if desired.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and provide direct services related to students’ IEP goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement annual Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students.
• Schedule IEP meetings with team members.
• Collect data for ongoing progress monitoring.
• Apply research-based learning strategies and interventions to support students’ IEP and progress.
• Manage a safe and effective learning environment.
• Collaborate and consult with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Holder of a valid K‑6 or K‑12 special education license in Nebraska.
• Must pass a background check.
• Strong knowledge base to deliver individualized instructional and educational services.
• Understand the processes and procedures of providing Special Education services.
• Ability to effectively analyze student needs and problem solve.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive rapport with students, parents, teachers, and administration.
