Qualifications

• Must hold a valid K-6 or K-12 special education license in the state of Nebraska.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive rapport with students, parents, teachers, and administration.
• Have a strong knowledge base to deliver individualized instructional and educational services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students.
• Schedule IEP meetings with team members.
• Collect data for on-going progress monitoring.
• Apply research-based learning strategies and interventions to support student’s IEP and progress.
• Manage a safe and effective learning environment.
• Collaborate and consult with general education teachers, administrators, and parents.
