Qualifications
- State Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required.
- One of the following: High School Diploma or equivalent with Ready to Work Credentials; WIN Silver Level 4 or higher; Work Keys scores (Applied Mathematics 4, Reading for Information 4, Writing 4); ParaPro passing score 456; or 60 academic credit hours; associate degree.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom teaching assistance.
- Supervise students at all times.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide daily care to students as needed (e.g., toileting, feeding).
- Follow district dress code policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of students and school records.
- Support student growth and development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
