Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools seeks a High School Science Teacher (Chemistry) for Kennedy High School on a long call reserve. The position is 1.0 FTE (7.2 hours per day) with an effective date of November 30, 2026 through June 4, 2027. Licensure required: MN Secondary/High School Chemistry, with prior HS science/chemistry teaching preferred.

Deliver district chemistry curriculum to five Food Chemistry sections. Open until filled with immediate review.

Qualifications

• Current MN Teaching License: Secondary/High School Chemistry.
• Previous experience teaching high school students in science/chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of Bloomington Public Schools chemistry curriculum and standards.
• Course load is five sections of Food Chemistry classes.
