Distinctive Schools is seeking a High School Chemistry Teacher in Chicago to join our Regular Full Time staff. Reports to the Principal. Start date: September 2026. Starting salary for certified teachers is $70,000.

You will deliver rigorous chemistry instruction, implement the DS model, assess progress, and maintain a welcoming, student-centered classroom. Collaboration with colleagues and communication with families are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid IL Professional Educator License or enrollment in a Teacher Certification program within 30 days of employment
• Proficient with Google Suite and digital tools
• Ability to analyze student and campus data from multiple sources
