Qualifications

• Candidates also certified in Physics, Biology, or General Science are preferred
• Experience with at risk populations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Teaches chemistry primarily, and physics/biology/general science as needed
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with district curriculum
• Performs ongoing assessment of student learning and adjusts instruction
• Maintains accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Engages parents and communicates effectively about student progress
