Job description

Harrison School District is accepting applications for a CTE Business Teacher position for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will be a full-time (1.0 FTE) teaching position for 7-12 grades.

Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:

1. Hold Arkansas DESE 7-12 Business certification
2. Have Arkansas Qualified Teacher Status
3. Demonstrate knowledge of effective instruction and disaggregation of data
4. Create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth
5. Exhibit appropriate classroom management skills
6. Engage students effectively in the classroom
7. Integrate technology proficiently in the classroom
8. Display excellent people skills
9. Be willing to engage in collaboration and the PLC process
10. Effectively use LMS and digital resources (CANVAS/Google Classroom)
11. Attain or possess Google Level One Certification
12. Be willing to attain a CDL
