Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans meeting district curriculum requirements.
Prepare lessons with accommodations for different learning styles.
Present material per Texas Education Agency guidelines and district policies.
Establish and maintain pupil behavior standards.
Evaluate and report student progress to parents as needed.
Teach within the course of study for the subject area and grade level.
Provide lesson plans for substitutes and plan a variety of learning experiences.
Counsel with students and parents before/after school as needed.
Coordinate with staff and participate in school/community activities.
