Job summary

Palmer High School is seeking a building substitute to cover classes when teachers are absent and to support daily learning. Substitutes work on site at Palmer High School and may fill multiple classroom roles as needed.

This is a temporary position with emphasis on reliable presence and continuity of instruction for students while teachers are unavailable. A Bachelor's Degree or Alaska Teaching Certificate is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or Alaska Teaching Certificate is PREFERRED to be a Building Substitute, but not required
• This is a temporary position

Responsibilities

• Fill in as a substitute in classrooms when teachers are absent.
• Support daily classroom activities and assist with learning continuity at Palmer High School
