Job summary

Chesterfield County Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Coach for Boys Wrestling at Monacan High School. The role emphasizes leadership, supervision and coaching across varsity and junior varsity levels, with a minimum stipend provided for part-time work on-site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in all phases of wrestling for varsity and junior varsity.
• Supervise teams, monitor student athletes’ personal and teamwork skills.
• Ensure compliance with VHSL rules and district policies.
• Handle equipment inventory and fee collection; participate in fund-raisers.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, staff and media.
• Maintain records, forms and eligibility documentation as required.
• Support health, safety practices and program needs with athletic director.
