Previous high school tennis coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Excels at teaching tennis fundamentals, strategies, and sportsmanship.
Supervise student-athletes during practices, contests, travel, and related events.
Attend and actively participate in all scheduled practices, contests (home and away), and team functions.
Plan practices, manage meets, and conduct skill instruction effectively.
Monitor and enforce all eligibility, safety, and conduct requirements as established by IHSA, the school, and district policies.
Chaperone and supervise athletes at all tennis events (including practices, meets, community gatherings, etc.).
Maintain discipline and promote a positive team environment.
Maintain a safe environment and report injuries promptly to appropriate staff.
Complete required paperwork, attendance logs, and communicate with parents and administration as needed.
Attend coach meetings and required professional development as assigned by the athletic department.
