You will implement coaching plans, supervise practices, enforce safety, and model positive attitudes while supporting the athletic program’s goals and district expectations. This role emphasizes inclusivity and skill development with collaboration across coaches and staff.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience to perform the tasks described in this job posting.
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Background Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Function within the philosophy and objectives developed by the District's interscholastic athletic programs and guidelines.
• Enhance coaching skills through professional development opportunities.
• Administer emergency treatment of injuries in the absence of qualified personnel.
• Model a positive attitude, sportsmanship, leadership, and preparation for student-athletes.
• Teach athletes skills for the sport using proven coaching techniques.
• Support the head coach and program in physical, mental and skill development.
• Apply disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently with district expectations.
• Use practice time effectively to improve individual and team performance.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or principal.
