Job summary

Lower Dauphin School District is seeking a Unified Bocce Coach for the 2026-27 school year at Lower Dauphin High School. You will supervise, coordinate, and promote all phases of the bocce program in collaboration with the Building Principal and Athletic Director.

You will foster fair play, safety, and a positive educational experience for student-athletes while coordinating practices, games, and related duties to support the district’s athletic program.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with and motivate students.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Evidence of effective leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Building Principal and Athletic Director to supervise, coordinate, and promote all phases of the interscholastic bocce program.
• Ensure fair treatment of all athletes and foster a positive educational experience.
• Plan practices, supervise games, and maintain safety standards for players.
• Coordinate scheduling, transportation, and equipment with the Athletic Director.
• Issue and manage physical forms, parental permissions, and uniforms as needed.
• Assist in personnel decisions and promote school-community relations.
