Qualifications

• Experience with high school curriculum development and differentiated instruction.
• Ability to conduct ongoing assessments and adapt instruction.
• Familiarity with data systems and reporting per district protocols.
• Strong communication with students, parents, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Develops and administers high school curriculum consistent with district goals and objectives.
• Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates plans into learning experiences.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and modifies instructional methods for individual needs including students with disabilities.
• Instructs students in citizenship and other subjects per laws and regulations of Wichita Public Schools.
• Attends seminars and professional development to stay current in education.
• Maintains accurate records of grades, attendance, and student progress as required by district policies.
• Encourages parental involvement and effective communication with families.
• Ensures student conduct aligns with school policies and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Coordinates with science and other faculty to evaluate curriculum and participate in meetings and committees.
• Selects and inventories instructional materials and equipment.
• Supervises students during extracurricular activities when needed.
• Administers standardized tests per district programs.
