Peoria Unified School District is seeking a Certified Teacher at Centennial High School in Peoria, AZ. This 9-month position follows the district's Teacher Salary Schedule and requires AZ teaching certification.

Qualifications

Requirements: A valid intern, provisional, or standard Arizona Teaching Certificate; or possess the necessary qualifications to become certified in the state of Arizona. Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Other Requirements:

• Specialized teaching assignments may require additional training and/or certification
• Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid government issued ID
• May be required to lift and carry heavy, bulky supplies and materials weighing up to 20 pounds
• May be required to lift students weighing up to 60 pounds
• May be required to work outside normal working hours
• May be required to travel to perform work functions
