Job summary

MePA in Colorado Aurora seeks a School Health Professional Grant (SSP) to lead behavioral health initiatives across multiple high schools. The role emphasizes prevention, early identification, intervention, MTSS integration, and building staff capacity to sustain programs.

You will collaborate with district leaders, families, and community partners to improve access to care, coordinate referrals, and embed evidence-based practices within school structures for lasting impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or higher from an accredited college or university in school psychology, social work, or school counseling.
• Colorado Special Services Provider License – School Social Worker preferred.
• Three years of experience in school-based prevention, behavioral health, student support services, or related field.
• Must hold a valid CDE license, DORA license, or CDE‑issued temporary emergency license.

Responsibilities

• Lead prevention, early identification, intervention, and coordinated behavioral health support across high schools.
• Strengthen MTSS implementation and staff capacity for sustainable programs.
• Coordinate care pathways, referrals, and collaboration with families and community partners.
