Job summary

Academy District 20 is seeking a part-time athletic coach at Liberty High School to lead and develop an athletic program, while coordinating with the Athletic Director. This role emphasizes student development, safety, and competitive excellence within the district’s policies.

Responsibilities include planning practices, supervising facilities, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders to foster a positive athletic environment.

Qualifications

• ASEP Certification is required and CHSAA Certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Reports consistently for work as scheduled.
• Communicates regularly with the Athletic Director.
• Plans for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual character development of all athletes in the program.
• Produces practice plans that are detailed and assist with the advancement of individual skills progression and strategy development.
• Equipment is consistently maintained, inventoried, stored, and re-ordered prior to the beginning of the season.
• Supervises all facilities and athletes before, during, and after practices and competitions.
