Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Familiar with the rules and regulations of the sport/activity.
• Experience as an athlete and/or coach.
• Work closely with program assistant coaches.
• Motivate, teach, and lead others.
• Energetic, responsible, dependable, and punctual.
• Strong public relations skills with staff, parents and administration.
• Experience working with teens and willingness to supervise on trips, camps and competitions.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in fundamental baseball/athletic skills.
• Develop sport-specific drills, practices, game plans and training rules.
• Motivate students to excel academically and athletically.
• Oversee team trips and events; manage equipment; assist in scheduling activities.
• Participate in hiring and instructing assistant coaches within budget constraints.
