Job summary

Tooele County School District in Wendover is looking for an enthusiastic sports instructor who will motivate and guide student athletes. The role includes instructing students in foundational skills and developing activities to enhance their performance. Applicants must have a high school diploma, be at least 21 years of age, and possess strong leadership and public relation skills.

This is a seasonal position with a stipend paid at the end of the season in March. Candidates should have the ability to work with teens, supervise trips, and contribute positively to the school environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Familiar with the rules and regulations of the sport/activity.
• Experience working with teens and willingness to supervise on trips, camps, and competitions.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in fundamental skills of the sport/activity.
• Develop sport-specific drill and practice activities.
• Motivate students in both academics and sports.

Skills

Ability to motivate, teach, and lead

Excellent public relation skills

Experience as an athlete and/or coach

Energetic, responsible, self-motivated, and punctual

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
