Qualifications

• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required (hands-on).
• Coaching certificate and NFHS concussion, SCA and heat-illness certificates required.
• High School coaching experience within last two years is preferred.
• Letters of Introduction/Recommendation and resume with references preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach the fundamental skills and drills of the game of baseball.
• Instruct players in the rules and equipment of the sport.
• Model sportsmanlike conduct toward players, officials, spectators, and families.
• Work in a group coaching environment.
• Provide academic advising to each player.
• Track the academic progress of each student/athlete.
• Collaborate with Athletic Director, Administration, Teachers and Parents.
• Fund-raise for the program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
