Job summary

Currituck County High School in Barco, North Carolina seeks an Automotive Services Teacher to deliver classroom and hands-on instruction in automotive maintenance, systems, and diagnostics. The role prepares students for ASE credentials and industry opportunities, within a safe lab environment and aligned to CTE standards.

The selected instructor will develop lessons, assess student progress, and build partnerships with local automotive businesses to support work-based learning and career

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required for consideration.
Related degree fields include Automotive Systems Technology and Transportation Systems Technology.
Industry experience in automotive repair/service required; teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction aligned with NC CTE Automotive Services standards.
Teach maintenance, brake, electrical, suspension, and other topics.
Ensure shop safety and proper use of tools and equipment.
