Job summary

Yorkville CUSD 115 is seeking an Athletic Trainer for Yorkville High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The Athletic Trainer will provide room and game coverage based on a minimum 40 hours per week, with travel coverage for Sophomore and Varsity football games.

Responsibilities include injury evaluation, baseline concussion testing, maintaining records, coordinating Return to Play, and serving on the concussion oversight team.

Qualifications

• Certified by NATA-BOC with IL licensure in progress.
• Current IL Athletic Trainer license and NPI number as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services for all home IHSA and non-IHSA events and away football games.
• Maintain injuries and treatments records, including IHSA concussion reporting.
• Coordinate Return to Play and concussion oversight as part of school policy.
• Develop and manage budget and inventory for the athletic training program.
• Collaborate with family physicians, specialists, athletes, and families.
