Job summary

Qualifications

• Classroom teaching experience is required.
• Eligibility for North Carolina Principal Licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing student orientation, registration and scheduling.
• Assist in ensuring the district mission and School Improvement Plan are followed by all stakeholders.
• Assist in evaluating the school program and staff and initiate needed improvements using the state-approved evaluation instrument.
• Assist the principal in budgeting priorities and in the coordination of the budget.
• Support updating professional knowledge and skills.
• Assist in preparation and management of budgets and schedules and in coordinating the co-curricular program.
• Promote and use technological tools to support school operations.
• Convey and implement school disciplinary policies and procedures to parents, students, staff and the community.
