The role reports to the Principal and is part of the Leadership division, with duties spanning instructional leadership, discipline, and program administration.

The position requires a Master's Degree (Tier I Educational Leadership preferred) and a valid Georgia Educational Leadership Certificate (level 5 preferred).

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• A Master's Degree with Tier I Educational Leadership preferred.
• Valid Georgia Educational Leadership Certificate at level 5 preferred.
• Completion of Educational Leadership program within 3 years may be required.
• Minimum of three years of successful educational experience.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Assumes responsibility in the absence of the principal; enforces policies on student discipline and attendance.
• Keeps the principal apprised of activities, situations, and developments affecting school operations.
• Assists in supervising, observing, and evaluating staff; helps direct and improve curriculum and instruction.
• Assists with staff development and extracurricular programs; safeguards health, safety, and welfare of students.
• Oversees student activities, assemblies, orientation, registration, and scheduling.
• Assists with maintenance and operations of the school facility.
• Assists with administration and supervision of the total school program and finances as needed.
• Serves as member or facilitator of District Student Disciplinary Due Process Hearing panels.
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
